To mark Domestic Violence Awareness month, for the first time, we will be offering our Walk the Talk Corporate workshop to a wider audience on May 30th.
The 2.5 hour workshop at KPMG’s offices in Barangaroo will be open to all HR professionals and workplace leaders who want to increase their awareness on gender-based violence and develop a meaningful response to supporting workers who may be experiencing relationship abuse (we know many will be; two thirds of women who experience DFV are employed).
We have had incredible, positive feedback from our previous sessions as you will see on the attached flyer and we need help to get the word out.
How you can help AND raise funds for your shelter:
For every ticket you sell, WCS will pass on a $100 donation to your shelter
- Please send our flyer for this unique and valuable program far and wide
- Promote it on your social media feeds
- Include it in your newsletter
- Send the flyer to family, friends and your community
We would love to reach as many people and businesses as possible as we also know these workshops end up being invaluable for building connections for WCS. Two previous participants have gone on to join boards.
With your help we are so excited to be able to reach more members of the community through this program.
Please email walkthetalk@womenscommunityshelters.org.au to book your place.
